Given that e.g. a DELQA has a M68k as embedded controler, you most likely need some sort of softcore inside the FPGA to properly emulate a DELQA. This softcore could drive a ENC28J60. There are other things that I would like to see build into the FPGA: A TS11 tape drive controller emulation that exposes a formated Pertec interface on the pins of the FPGA.
