Another curious thing is this...
Dumping the first block with DMP or a Linux/DOS tools gives different
results.
For example:

Linux/DOS

B16 B15 B14 B13 B12 B11 B10 B9 B8 B7 B6 B5 B4 B3 B2 B1
Byte sequence is reversed. It isn't a Big/Little Endian issue. The
entire 16 bytes string is reversed.
VMS, at least, formats its dumps this way. Sure you actually have a
byte ordering problem?
