Subject: OT: Scrapper question
Does anyone know if tantalum is recovered from electronic waste?
No particular reason for asking, other than pure curiosity.
Thanks,
Chuck
I don't believe anything is recovered from electronic waste.
It's all put on a boat to China (including the disposal fee) for recovery, and then
ends up in a landfill.
From there, the toxic metals are returned to us in the
form of children's toys.
