Not quite: Everyone knows what the *second* highest one is, and that the
highest bid is at least greater than (or equal to, depending on bid timing)
that one.
The fact that the price changes during the auction, however, is the
greatest indicator that eBay is not remotely like a "sealed bid" auction.
