Yes but then you can notch your diskettes and
flip them.
On the PC, "notching" is not enough.
You also need to punch a hole on each side og the jacket to
permit seeing the index hole. Fortunately, there were jigs
(Berkeley Microcomputer "Flip-Jig", etc.) available to make
it easier.
