Way before the below accomplishments Norm was a technical giant at Tektronix, joining in
'58.
Norm was bigger than life, an avid pilot (fixed and rotary), technical visonary,
philanthropist.
I spoke with him just a few weeks ago.
He had spinal surgery and was in a lot of pain, he shot himself.
There will be a memorial Sunday December 5th at Hillsboro Airport
at the Global Aviation Hangar on 2250
N.E. 25th St. Hillsboro.
This should be published in the Oregonian in the next day or so.
