Using pine, the best e-mail program in the world, I was able to invoke its
header expansion feature. Your earlier mails had the header line embedded
in them:
"Content-Type: text/plain; charset=x-user-defined"
Now that you've made the change mentioned above, the line has become:
"Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii"
Technically, I'm not sure if us-ascii is exactly the same as iso-8859-1.
I think it's bad for people to use e-mail programs generate stuff like
this, as well as those that pay attention to it.
