Me neither. ?I think the largest resistor I've
ever seen had a blue
third band (and, IIRC, brown and black for the first two - 10 megs).
Resistors get much, much larger that 10 megaOhms. Much larger than 10
gigaOhms, even. When they get that large in value, they need special
handling, as the oil from fingers can throw the value way off.
I live near, and have been to, Hipotronics, where they fool around
with resistors in the teraOhm and capacitors in the megaVolt range.
