What kind of crap attitude is that?
What kind of crack is that Sellam.
It's a pretty defeastist and lazy message for this group. I'm just not
accustomed to people being too lazy to find the right tool, too scared to
open up a case, and too insecure to attempt any sort of inspection of a
computer.
That's bullshit.
I have an IBM 9-track tabletop that isn't getting powered up till I
get docs. Period. I don't feel like taking a chance with it, because
it's a damn nice drive.
Is that defeatist or lazy? Hardly. I've got several other working
9-tracks, I can't replace the IBM if I hose it, I can't repair it
without the docs, and I can afford to leave that one sitting till I get
the info I want.
Looks to me like Ron's in the same shape. The SE *works*, as-is. If
he wants to leave it in a working state till he can learn more about it,
who are you to call him derogatory names?
