Yes, it's not common on this list but it is common to see people slam a
particular model without considering the relevant context. By that I mean
the exact year it was released, the price it sold for, the market it was
pitched for, options available (and how much they cost) and the competing
machines available at the time. Only then can you form a meaningful
opinion as to whether it was designed, priced and marketed well (or not).

Like you said, I always looked at the 400 as a super-duper video game
machine that was also a pretty darn good computer.
What did you say? "If you wanted a 400 with a full stroke keyboard you
could get one... the Atari 800"
