It?s probably better in other areas, but around northern New England rail is not a real
transportation method.

FedEX does packing if you bring it to them but
I've never used it. I just
know (or think) that's the only way they'll insure an item so perhaps it's
in their best interest to pack it well.
I'll ship by rail if I can.
