It's a cute device, but not really necessary for this task if you already have
a working Amiga knocking about.
I use SuperDuper[0] configured to read Amiga disks to a file. Most of the disks
are copies made twenty years ago with the same software! I use a passive CF
adaptor plugged into the A1200's PCMCIA slot, again using a driver from
Aminet[1], and I use this to transfer the files. SuperDuper writes disk images
in a custom IFF format, so I wrote a Perl script[2] to convert to ADF.
Thus I didn't have to spend any money on new hardware :)
