You probably won't get that far--the drive head will plow a groove in
the media and then it's all downhill after that.
The only way that I know of that even stands a chance of being able to
read those awful things is to remove the cookies from the jackets and
bake them (the cookies) for several hours (3 or 4) at 140F/60C in a
well-controlled oven (don't let things get too hot or you'll destroy
them). Replace in the jacket and then do your imaging right
away--you'll anywhere from a few hours to a few days where the oxide
won't shed. After imaging, sell the disks on Etsy for decorations.
