Did you ever try contacting former employees to see if maybe someone
somewhere preserved the code? I know at least one former employee (Doug
Coward) but he left before they became AOL.
I don;t know any, but my queries have reached a few folks who stated
they would ask ex-employees. On the other hand, as I am not exactly
sure of the legalies of using such code, we are currently trying a
clean-room (or at least not-too-cluttered room) approach.
