I've got some odd twinax connectors (the core of each is divided into two
D-shaped sections, one with a pin, the other with a socket; so the things
are either genderless or hermaphorditic. They're differentiated only
according to being bulkhead or cable, but you can connect cable-to-cable or
bulkhead-to-bulkhead or bulkhead-to-cable...
