bias ply tires about 15 years ago. After only 5,000 miles I had a
tread separation last summer. Not so good on the interstate at
65MPH... It is a long way between exits in some parts of Ohio. Now I
am looking for some age appropriate whitewalls that are not from the
same batch as the ones that came apart.
I agree with Eric's science and I hope that Chuck's experience, which
I share as far as computer drives go, continues. I figure that things
like stick head syndrome will catch up with most old drives and they
will be done.
So where are these MFM drive sources that people keep talking about?
Most I have seen have incredible prices for working drives.
