In the stonework over a doorway in Southwark (part of 'London' south of
the Thames) is a statement that many here should remember. It's the
doorway of Kilkaldy's Testing Works and reads :
'Facts not Opinions'
An extension of that is an old tenant of mine:
Opinions are permissible, but not enforceable.
Facts are indisputable.
