The sector presented by default is a "no system here" boot.
All in all, pretty clever.
At Durango, we used GCR on 100 tpi with drive boards modified for a
little more "headroom" to get 12x512 bytes per track. WD1781
controller and a whole bunch of random logic.
Were "twiggy" drives mentioned?
