Aren't there extremely steep licensing costs to get the specs for SATA?
what about the el cheepo sata-ATA adapters? I'd never do the work if
those are functionally near to ATA as Dave's work (and others) talk to
if I could help it. I figure the init and other crap may need work
which would be entertaining to figure out, but they would hopefully be
pretty similar once up and running as far as the ATA.
only about $12 to $15, (or $25 or so "retail") for what I'm talking about.
