Terminal emulator for TRS-80 Model 1?

Once the BR1941 chip heats up a little it keeps sending the last character over and over and over. That chip gets super super hot and when I stuck a heat sink on it, it took a lot longer before it went repeat crazy. I've got a couple of COM8116 chips on order which I'm hoping will fix it. I got OmniTerm loaded and it's nice it has a cursor. But it still sends uppercase by default and I have to hold down shift to get lowercase.
