Gets my vote. Mine is an original model w/o the backlight. Have
one 1" line of pixels bad after all this time, but once your visual
filters are tuned to it, it's not noticable.

It's -definitely- the Macintosh portable. I was
the engineer at Apple who
was responsible for measuring the quality of that display, and spent much
of my time at Hosiden's factory outside Osaka. Fun days...
