i have thought bout that idea to to be able to turn one into a prepaid phone which
wouldn?t be to bad. most of the palmtops i find are always missing accessories cause they
have long since been missing or that they end up never with the unit since some of the
time they get placed with the other types of the same cables in the same cable bin. jim i
do happen to have a cf wireless card and i have a cf bluetooth card. i did end up also at
the same time with a hp 620LX but no power cord or accessories just the power base or dock
as it is. i would like to find more accessories and even programs for it or if i don?t i
can always end up using or playing around with a phone that has windows ce on it or some
other divide. maybe there is someone out there that has a working jornada or 620LX or
660LX

PCMCIA? or "Compact Flash"?
good point fred. I have a wireless to CF card for some sort of IpaQ I
have in a corner.
I also have a good number of MS phones which run Windows CE type phone,
if anyone has a need. A company I worked for used MS as the platform
since Android was not mature enough or with the path to the peripherals
it has now when they did a dongle reader that was able to run with both
a bluetooth coupling on a laptop, a serial port, and with a phone or
bluetooth gizmo.
Turned out noone gave a frig that they could see it on their phones as
the product made no sense, and most hated microsot phones.
But ever the packrat, I collected about 6 or 8 phones. android is now
so cheap, I've not done a thing with the MS small devices, since I can
have a full powered android / linux for next to nothing for anything.
I can list what I have should anyone have interest. Verizon and sprint
phones, probably 2G or older radios if that helps. Probably not rooted
if that is the right term for such old phones.
