But seriously? Better look for a cheap used monitor
or a free one on your
local freecycle list. You'll be VERY limited with your mother's monitor :(
The snag is, she is on a relatively small island that I visit only
once a year or so, by air. I paid ?150 in excess baggage to take her
that monitor!
And I have no car. There may be a Freegle-type group there but getting
a quick response if I am there for just a few days is unlikely. :?(
