I'd be interested .... Did the 8032 PETs use them?
No. The 8032 used a set of 4 2114s for video RAM, IIRC, but no 1/4K SRAMs.

Subject: Anyone need 2112 RAMs?
I was surprised to find a local supplier clearing old stock of 2112
RAMs. This is an NMOS static RAM 256bit x 4. The chips are new,
labelled SY2112-A (Synertek I think) and they're supposedly 350 nS
devices.
Hmm... didn't know about these.
I believe this was the chip used in late-model
Commodore PETs (after
they designed out the earlier 6550 chips); maybe someone wants to
confirm this for the list.
Not sure. I think there was a redesign of the static PET, but I thought
it used 2114s (same geometry as the 6550s). There might be schematics
on funet.
Found this reference, though...
http://www.obsoletecomputermuseum.org/pet/petguts.html
... where it mentions the redesign. It does describe them as 512x4.
I always thought they were 4096 bit not 2048 bit parts. Counting
chips in a photo of the motherboard gives you 16 chips x 1024x4 = 8KB.
