It sounds like Compaq's first machine. What amazes me though is that this
could possibly be the first time you've seen one. They're extremely
common (which is one reason Compaq was able to survive in the early years
of clonedom).
I've seen a couple back when they were commonplace and new, but not aware of
what point in Compaq's history that they fell or how common they were to date.
They seem to go for a quick buck on ePay so maybe I'll try there unless I get
a resonse from a collector here in the next few days.
