Next step might even be as extreme as to make sure that pin 1 position on
the board is not mismarked! Yes, that has happened.
Another way to get data off that machine is to use
LapLink V and a Serial LapLink Cable. There were several work-alikes to LapLink like
FastMove and others.
Is the Tandy 2000 compatible enough for that end of the laplink software
to work?
