The stock one is only a foot or so in length.
Try Spherical Solutions (www.orb.com) or Black Hole, Inc.
(www.blackholeinc.com). Both are highly reputable NeXT vendors.
Both those places want $20 for the cable (which is $5 more than I paid for
the rest of the system). Is there any reason to believe that a
straight-through 25-pin cable suitably munged wouldn't do the trick?
