Actually, a fair numbero of vitnage computers don't have real time clocks
at all (or a dated filesystem), so they have no concept of the year.
C-64 (TI$ time-of-day string, but no date. No date or time on CBM DOS
floppies, either).
I don't think anyone could (successfully) argue that the C-64 isn't in play.
