Or of course modify the drive electronics to allow _you_ to control the
2-sided output. It's not hard to do on the SA850 series given the
schematics/service manual.
What is even more anoying is that you can't use a double-sided 8" floppy
in a single-sided drive. The index sensor is in the wrong place, you see.
And punching extra holes in a few boxes-worth of disks is not my idea of
a fun afternoon :-(.
