Funny I took a hammer to my VCR ( At home ) since
I said "give me my
tape back
or else". It did not listen too well, but I did get my tape OUT.
I've always found removing the VCR's cover and twiddling the loading arm
drive and cassette holder (basket) drive to be a quicker and easier way
of getting the tape out, with less risk of damage to the tape (and to the
VCR for that matter).
