37, very common, e.g. for external floppy drives.

Well, the D-type connectors are at least 50 to 60 years old, so there
was no ASCII back then. Besides, they weren't invented for computer use,
but e.g. as robust connectors for industrial and military applications.
The pins are rated for several hundred volts and at least one ampere, I
think.
