I'm pretty certain that you're correct, Jonas. However, I'm not a VMS
person--my experience with running VAX-en have all been with BSD.
To learn VMS at the point for me just to verify the contents of a couple
of tapes would be pointless.
You'd probably feel the same way if you turned up with a SCOPE 3.1.6 tape.
