Will Linux read/write the AIX filesystem ? If so take the hard disk
out, mount it in a Linux box and edit the password/shadow files.
Even if Linux doesn't understand the AIX filesystem, you should also
be able to use a disk editing tool to search through the disk looking
for the password file and directly edit it.
This of course asumes that you have access to a Linux box and that the
AIX hard disk is something standard like IDE or SCSI.
It's laptop (2.5") SCSI. I don't have anything that'll talk to
those
other than the Sparcbook... I suppose I could try the drive in the
Sparcbook and boot from a linux/netbsd CD and try to hack the password
files that way...
