Pretty. And complicated to be shipped, I think.
Is it really a 11/34? I doesn't look like the ones I have.
I've got next to no experience with the bigger PDP11s but I've been
reading
up a little and looking at photos and it would appear that there may be a
certain, important part missing? As has been mentioned, this might just be an
expansion unit. I've emailed the seller, asking for some more photos
It may be real.
Remember that some PDP11 models came with two types of console, a
?programmer?s console? that lets you examine memory and do similar things
you?d expect from a lights & switches console, and a basic console (forgot
what they were called) that just allowed for halt/run and reboot. It looks
like this one is the latter kind, with those control switches positioned at
the top of that dark gray side panel. That packaging does sound familiar.
Still, it?s definitely worth a careful check.

Back in the 80s a customer had a PDP 11/something that was in a cab like
that with a pair of RK05s. I remember the lass operating it calling the 3
switches 'initialise/unlock' 'cos I was confused when I asked her to reboot
it and she didn't know what that meant.
