Some releases of VMS support the KZQSA, which is a native SCSI
controller (no MSCP or other emulation). Doesn't that mean that there is
some SCSI support in VMS?
Ahh, and what about the NCR5380 in the MicroVAX/VAXstation-2000?
There's no other processor on that board to run an MSCP emulation layer,
at least not one that I recall. It's only officially supported for
tapes, but people have rewritten EPROMs for those machines such that
they'll boot from a SCSI disk attached to that interface. I don't
recall what device type they show up as, though. (which is sad, because
I used a VAXstation-2000 every day for years, eons ago!)
