Disagree on the applicator--I use a fiber optic swab; has a
polyurethane sponge on the tip rather than cotton, which can leave
fibers behind.
I'm still using Freon TF, BTW. Laid in a big supply when it became
illegal to sell.
Perhaps incandescent lamps will be next...
