If it has a hard drive, it was probably not used
as a Tempest machine. The
TPC I have contains only two floppy drives, and my understanding is that a
tempest machine must have media that can be removed and cannot have fixed
media.
Well, perhaps someone bought this surplus and added the hard drive later.
But both the floppy and harddrive are enclosed within their own shielded
compartment inside the case. Still, I was surprised that there was no
shielding on the front of the hard and floppy drives, so it does seem
suspicious.
