I don't know how uptight your place of employment
is (or if you're
retired) but if you're friendly with the dockmaster or mail room staff
at your office building, it can be worth having a little chat with them
to see if you can just arrange to have palletized freight shipped to
your office;

You can say I am very friendly with my work - unfortunately we do not have a dock. So no
go there. Delivering there does have it be a bit cheaper (business vs. residential) but
not by much.
