I was quite surprised, believe me. The previous owner never used it,
didn't know anything about it. Neither did I, not even whether it
powered on or not. I got very lucky!
I've got a few apps here in the form of DiscFerret
images. Troff, C
Trainer, a database package and a few other oddments. I've heard rumours
of a version of MS Word for it, but haven't seen a physical copy.
That might be very useful!
If you're into software development, you'll want the Developers Set.
That's on Bitsavers.
I am, as I have an idea that I'd like to build a small replacement
daughterboard for the WD1010 socket that will hold a microSD card and
act as a hard drive replacement. Much easier to pretend to be a WD1010
than to pretend to be an MFM drive (though, less authentic!)
Thanks for the additional links, also. I'll be burrowing through them
this evening.
