There's someone trying to give away a nice 27" RCA console (with the
turntable-style mounting) on the local CL. They're not uncommon,
just big and heavy--a lot of particle board went into those slab-
sided cabinets.
ISTR some solid-state models - vacuum tubes were mostly '60s and early '70s, if I
remember correctly. -- Ian
