Probably - it's not like they were that common even when new, and I'm sure
most of them went to landfill because they were "just a PC". I can't
believe I got a kick out of finding a PC with ISA slots the other day, but
it's the only one I've seen around here in the last five years, so it
seemed silly not to rescue it :-)
The board came in the mail, still looking for the BIOS. The board was
missing 4 chips, 2 are Dallas RTC chips (DS12887, DS1225) which are easy
enough to get, a 27512 (thats the BIOS), and a 8742 (keyboard controller
correct). Are all the keyboard controller chips of that era pretty much the
same and interchangable?
