Interesting item; anyone have a reference to what the intact unit looked
like? I don't think I've ever seen rotating platter-type storage with so
many fixed heads (it seems like an evolutionary step between drum stores
and modern drives).
Although... is it even computer-related? It just struck me that it might
have had applications elsewhere (telecoms, TV etc.) rather than computing.
