I have a row
of Micro PDP11's waiting on RD52/53 hard disks.
I'd call them ST506 interface. I presume MFM means much the same thing.
Two cables one for control and one for data.
RD52 is the quantum D540 and the 53 is the Micropolos 1325.
You can also use the ST225 (20mb) as a RD31 as well as ST512 (10mb).
The latter (RD32) is an ST-251.
