Someone's certainly got a few rudimentary things (of the "hello world"
type level) working on the 88k xterms - I'm not aware of anyone doing
the same for different ones though. But at the end of the day the whole
design's geared around being a remote display, so I'm not sure what use
they'd be for anything else (that they couldn't already be used for as a
remote display). Lot of investment for very little useful gain.
The only thing they really lack is any useful audio capability. Giving
them 44KHz stereo audio ability would be nice...
