How about
getting a sheet of aluminium and cutting suitable holes in it
for the connecotrs. It doesn't that _that_ long....
It goes _really_ fast with a D-shaped Greenlee punch. They are
expensive, but make a nice, clean mounting hole in aluminum and
plastic (not so good for steel).
In the UK, similar punches are sold by RS components, I have no idea who
really makes them. They are expensive (about \pounds 100 each), but do a
great job. I invested in the DB sized one (all I can really justify), and
never regretted it...
