VT420 Serial Lines

Is there some special setting I'm missing to make both lines talk to a computer, or are some VT420's only capable of talking to a printer on line 2? I typically have two computers plugged into the same terminal, or two lines on the same computer, but with this VT420 I can only get line 1 talking to the computer. Zane -- | Zane H.
