Some of the musicians in the groups I play in have scanned their parts
to be displayed on an iPad, complete with foot pedal page-flipper. I've
seen what a 10x13 inch score looks like shrunk to fit on an iPad screen.

I've got a Kobo e-reader and have found it very inconvenient to use for
thumbing through databooks and whatnot. Ultimately, I end up printing
the commonly-used pages on real paper.
Paper is a wonderful medium. I can knock it off my desk to the floor
and not worry about its being damaged, for one. No batteries for another.
