Actually (unless you were trolling) popcorn is used now as packing material.
Unless you do a lot of shipping those plastic popcorn bits are hard to
get rid of, unpopped popcorn takes a lot less room to store, can be
made as needed and, is biodegradable-- though I wouldn't eat it either.
