Pat's right on (of course). I have a lot of LVD drives on Adaptec
2940UW controllers, and also on LSI MegaRAID controllers (475, etc).
That's a very common interface, actually.
Beware the 2944 controller however. Not the same. It's HVD, and an LVD
drive and HVD controller will make short work of one, the other, or both
if connected.
