I've read about PERQs but I've never seen one;
I don't believe I know
anyone who has one.
They can't be that rare, I've got 4 of them. OK, the AGW3300 (PERQ 3a) is
a PERQ in name only -- it's a 68020-based unix box, albeit with a
graphics processor using a pair of 29116s. But the other 3 are
classic-PERQs with the soft-microcoded CPU, etc.
I don;t know how manyo other PERQ owners are here, but I would be
suprised if there were none.
There are a number of PERQ manuals on bitsavers if you want to find out
more about these interesting machines.
